Garfield Park

We would have felt bad about bringing Aki to so many activities on Saturday if it weren't for the fact that everything was planned around him!

Our first stop after music class was Garfield Park. We buzzed by this spot in South Pasadena to meet up with several other families who had young kids. It was great to trade stories about the little ones, and even better to let them go and enjoy themselves in one of the best parks in the area.

Aki's already been swinging and sliding since our trip to Mammoth last year. This time, though, he worked up the courage to climb up himself and take the big plunge:

We weren't sure how many of the families at the park were there to meet up with our group: It was pretty crowded. But we love the South Pas vibe. Everyone was friendly and kept a good eye on their kids. And with the weather warming up in So Cal, it was the perfect time to take the little guy out to run around and go crazy.
